Are Children Allowed in The Ivy Lodge?
Under 18s are allowed on the premises until 9pm, accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. After 6pm, under 18s must be having a meal from one of our Shiprow Village street-food vendors to comply with our licence requirements.
What is your policy on football tops?
We allow all football tops to be worn.
Do you serve food?
Yes! We are thrilled to have our independent Shiprow Village street-food vendors available to order right to your table. Enjoy delicious food from Aberdam, Shipyard Street Food and 16 Below. We don’t allow any other outside catering in the venue.

Is the bar wheelchair accessible?
Our terrace bar is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet available. Unfortunately due to the structure of our building, the upstairs bar does not have wheelchair access.
Can I hire an area/the venue for an event?
Yes! We have numerous options available for your party whether that’s a private area or full exclusive use accommodating up to 450. For group bookings of 20+ (6+ during festive period) we will request a £50 non-refundable deposit to confirm your reservation.
Are dogs welcome?
Extremely!
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. We operate a challenge 25 policy, therefore if a member of staff believes you look under 25 years, you will be asked to produce a valid ID. Acceptable documents to prove your age are a valid passport, a UK driving licence or a national identity card.
Do you accept walk in?
Yes we do. However, to avoid any disappointment, we do encourage booking ahead especially when you are planning on visit us on the weekend or in a large group.
Do you have live music?
Yes! Every Thursday night in the upstairs bar, we have a brilliant Open Mic Night hosted by the local legend, Jim Rodden. The last Thursday of the month, the Open Mic Night is Country Inspired. Everyone is welcome to join in and perform.

Do you host a Quiz Night?
Yes! Every Wednesday we have a Quiz Night in our upstairs bar. Hosted by the brilliant Andy Davidson-Lee. The quiz night is free entry and is always a great laugh! Fun mystery prize has to be won every week – win up to £100 bar voucher!

Do you have a DJ?
Yes! Every Friday and Saturday night, we have a resident DJ bringing the floor-fillers and getting the weekend started.
Friday & Saturday 8pm – 1am
Is there a dress code?
On Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm, we don’t accept tracksuits and jogging bottoms.
